Competitiveness and product value which are both directly related to productivity, are critical parameters for the performance of any manufacturing company.  For this reason, the methods and procedures used in our production are always at the centre of our attention, with continuous efforts to improve production efficiency from the moment an order is received to the preparation of parts, assembly and shipment to destination.

The production system at Karnic involves eleven technical departments that are synchronised to produce efficiently and at a constant pace the products of the company.  All technical departments are coordinate by the production administration team who are also responsible for the supply of parts and materials as well as the shipment of the boats to the dealer network.

Strong tool to administrate our production is custom computer software developed specifically for the needs of our company with which the orders are processed as soon as they are received and are assigned a production slot at the appropriate line in the production schedule. 

The same software is used to prepare lists of the parts required at the production so they are delivered just in time to the right stage along the line and simultaneously to monitor the warehouse stock level so parts are ordered to suppliers at the right time at the correct quantity.  Additionally, it is used to prepare analytical lists of operations at each department with target production times and also, to produce numerous checklists used at different stages to control quality.

We have always been strong believers on the human factor for the development of our business.  To provide comfort to our staff we always aim to balance the workload between departments and therefore humans.  We use the teamwork and multi-skilled philosophy throughout.  Training seminars are organised at frequent intervals and staff is often re-positioned to broaden their knowledge and experience.  In this way Karnic become extremely flexible and are able to respond effectively to changes in production volumes.
